About Karla Oliveri
Karla Oliveri MSN, RN, CPAN, FNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner Karla Oliveri graduated from Holy Name Medical Center and has been a nurse for over 25 years. She worked in intensive care and cardiac surgery, as a certified critical care nurse for over a decade and her more recent experience includes positions as a certified recovery room nurse and as an RN in a primary care office.
Karla received her Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia University in biology. She graduated from Ramapo College with a master's degree as a family nurse practitioner and is board certified. She worked briefly at the onset of the covid-19 crisis, as a nurse practitioner with the rapid response team at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Karla completed a one-year nurse practitioner primary care fellowship with Hackensack Meridian Healthcare Network. Karla's experience during the fellowship consisted of working in a federal qualified health care clinic, where she treated patients from age one-month-old to geriatrics. She performed physical exams and was responsible for treating and managing patient's acute and chronic diseases, and women's health exams. She also worked during that time in a cardiologist/internist's office performing physicals, managing cardiovascular diseases, and performing medical clearances. The program also consisted of rotation through various medical specialty rotations, such as urgent care, endocrine, psychology, cardiac failure, nephrology, orthopedics, oncology, neurology, palliative care & integrative medicine
